In honour of SKelly aka the rare bird, the son of the wind, the machete, the son of Abla Pokou and the Virgin Mary, the bird of God. Rest in peace, artist. During a performance at the Skulptur Projekte in Münster in 2017, SKelly dragged us onto a picture we had painted and we walked with him on the picture. This later made us think about the relationship between the body and painting and is one of the milestones of our current practice of extended painting. Forever in our hearts. Murals created at the invitation of Monika Gintersdorfer in Bouaké, Ivory Coast. The first mural is a community project with the people of Bouaké at the Résidence SKelly and the second (in collaboration with an unknown artist) at Carrefour SKelly.
